After AHS, graduated from Cal State LA with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Went to work at LA County-USC Medical Center. Worked in pediatrics and then on to Medical Emergency where I met a handsome young resident physician when I was "the nurse on the night shift" as he called me. We married a year later and moved to Seattle, Wa. for his fellowship program. That was 30 years ago and we still are here in Mercer Island--a suburb of Seattle. We have a son who is getting married in October. He and his wife to be are wildlife biologists and live in Twisp, Wa. Our daughter and her husband live in Haines, Alaska. Both of the kids graduated from University of Puget Sound. John, retired from his medical practice and teaches at a medical residency program through the UW. I retired from nursing. We love the NW. Have fun at the reunion! |
