Update: 2/29/12 After graduating from AHS, I went to ELAC and CSULA and graduated with a BS in Business. If any of you remember me, the BS was very appropriate. I soon after graduation got a job in New York and worked there through the mid 70's, had three children in three years ( are you impressed or just think I'm stupid ), and unfortunately divorced, and moved back to California in 1975 . I then changed careers, became a teacher in San Gabriel, married a teacher in 1978 ( still married 34 years later ), and retired in 2004 after 30 years teaching. Today we are still pretty active with grandchildren, doing some house flipping, playing golf, trying to remember where I put my key, and traveling. Looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion. I hope we recognize each other. Original Posting I graduated from CSULA in business
a long, long time ago. Married to Gail (a high school principal) for 23
years . I have been an 8th grade teacher in San Gabriel for 25 years,
and still really enjoy teaching. The funny thing is, a lot of the history
I teach, I (and you ) remember when these events occurred. We've raised
five children (my three, her two). Three masters, one Ph.D. in June 2002,
one bachelors degree -- We are proud and very tired!! One daughter married
a former student of mine (they are both high school counselors at Gabrielino
High) and we have one grandchild. |
