BS in Electrical Engineering, California State University, Sacramento, 1972. Still working as an electrical engineer for Uncle Sam (Air Force), after 28 years (11 military, 17 civilian). I've been learning all about the environmental field for the past two years. Married for 21 years to Linda Owen, a college piano professor for the last 28 years. I was more than usually proud of her, when she received her PhD in 1997. My stepson, Topher Owen, 30, is an actor and member of the Main Stage company at The Second City-Detroit, a comedy-improv theater. Continuing to maintain a lifelong interest in classical music, I serve on the boards of two music organizations, and hold the office of historian with a third. Attending concerts, listening to recordings, and going to the movies two to three times a week keeps me out of trouble. I walk for exercise. We enjoy vacations in Colorado and New Mexico. |
