9/12/07: My husband and I moved from Visalia, CA to Lyons, CO to be near our daughter, Dena, her husband and our grandson, Eli. We visit CA often, as our son, Nathan, lives in Davis with his wife and our grandson, Owen. When we moved in 2006,I retired from working in a hospital lab. as a laboratory scientist. We've traveled to Romania twice to build at Caminul Felix, an interdenominational organization providing homes for children. We visited southern Spain to revisit where I spent a year while in college. We're now enjoying the beautiful scenery and active lifestyle of the Boulder area. While getting a haircut in the small town of Lyons (pop. 1500), I ran into an ex-Moor who graduated in 1960, but who's first wife graduated in 1962 (I can't remember their names.) Became a clincal laboratory scientist, recently retiring from Tulare District Hospital in CA and moving to Colorado. Married 39 years to Morry whom I met at Humboldt. Have recently traveled to Hawaii, Romania and Spain. Enjoy hiking (backpacks to Mt. Whitney and other high Sierra locals), traveling and reading. Have two children,and two grandchildren (one in Davis and one in Lyons.) |
