Update: 7/28/11 Both my husband Clarence and I are retired had have been living in Henderson, NV, since 2006. We live about 30 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. Our home is located on Black Mountain and we are at approx. 2500 ft. elevation. Yes, it does snow in Las Vegas. We had 8 inches of snow in 2008! We love the weather, and the surrounding mountains are beautiful. We have 5 adult children and 7 grandchildren between us. All live in California with the exception of my son, Henry, who graduated from UNLV. He bought a home here and comes over just about every Sunday to eat! We enjoy going to the casinos and taking short trips to Laughlin, NV., located on the Colorado River. We also like to visit the Valley of Fire, about 40 minutes from our home. It has beautiful rock formations of red and gold, and is a photographers dream. We are enjoying our retirement and are looking forward to our 50th class reunion. Hope to see you there. I am currently an Administrative Assistant for Student Information Systems here on campus. I am in charge of all the major purchasing (Hardware/software) for the department. I was married February 12, 2000 to a wonderful man . . Clarence. He is the love of my life. He is in charge of Volunteer Services at the Veteran's Hospital in Palo Alto. He's romantic (Portuguese/Italian), caring, funny AND A WONDERFUL COOK! I've found that you're never too old to find your true love and that it's not the material things in life that really count, but the love and the people who surround you. I have been blessed.
